Passion! This was a blast to chat with film maker AJ Messier, he’s a creative gem and possess the long lost gift of communication or gift of gab! I loved chatting with AJ and hearing his authentic story of how he got in to photography (beers and class mixed well!!), he chatted about his work with NHL events, the winter classic games, outdoor games, All Star games and how he grew up an Oilers fan. We also dive into his lates project that will hopefully be coming out this year “The Cannons” a documentary about the Fort Dupont Hockey Club founded in 1978 by Neal Hendersron a former black semi-professional hockey player who returned home and began renting ice to help his son and local youth learn and enjoy the game of hockey. Over 40 years later the program is still providing an all inclusive outlet and family for hockey players no matter their skin colour. This was a great conversation with a professional who spent over 3 years creating this great film and over 30 years becoming a professional creator. We hope you enjoy the episode!
