Making the Game Better! It is always fun to sit down and chat hockey with a coach who’s in the game working and focusing on players fundamentals. Danny Heath, founder of Project Hockey feeds his passion every day, working with players locally on the ice and virtually around the world. He shares some great stories of his hockey journey, leaving for Junior hockey at a young age, playing college hockey and dealing with injuries and set backs that eventually ended his playing career. Danny is open and honest about his experiences, he adds some great insight for parents and players looking to play junior hockey, how to find and listen to trusted hockey people when making decisions and how hard work does pay off. Danny discusses how Project Hockey began, how he and his team have developed an accessible and simple off-ice training program for players of all ages combining skills, workouts, the mental part of the game and much more.
