This is an interesting podcast with Justin del Rosario who shares his awesome hockey journey. Justin picked up the game of hockey later in life and has been loving it ever since he strapped his skates on.
Justin is an ambitious man who has taken on the task of founding Gay Hockey Washington D.C. He’s started a fun, safe hockey environment for straight and gay men and women of the LGBTQ+ community who share a passion for hockey. Justin has been actively recruiting players from beginners to experienced helping them learn the game of hockey and providing them with some fun scrimmages.
Justin is a great example of a hockey player pursuing his passion by reaching out to members in his community, other cities and putting together teams for recreational play, tournaments and building a hockey community from scratch in the D.C. area.
Justin shares some great stories of his hockey journey from the obstacles that he faced to now enjoying all of the hard work that he’s put in.
