Description
Bracket Turn/Transition Turn Progression
1. Bracket Turn – Players leave from hash marks, pass puck to coach, bracket turn around cone (keeping eyes on the puck, cross over to pick up speed) receive pass from coach and shoot.
2. Bracket Turn with Support – 2 Players leave from hash marks, P1 gives pass to coach, bracket turn at cone, receive return pass from coach. P2 skates wide around 2nd cone and glides towards P1 to support the puck, P1 passes to P2 and they go 2-0 to net for a shot.
3. 1-1 – Players leave from hash marks, P1 gives pass to coach and bracket turns at high cone, receives pass from coach. P2 skates to close cone and Transition Turns for 1-1 against P1.
4. 2-1 – Players leave from hash marks, P1 gives pass to coach and bracket turns at cone, receives pass from coach, P2 glides at wide cone and supports the puck, P3 skates, taps stick on blue line and Transition Turns to backwards to take 2-1 back to net.
