One-on-one training and hockey camps can get expensive and sometimes aren’t available in your area. Often times these camps are limited to certain ages, or are at times that don’t work with your schedule. At the NSDA, we want to give everyone access to development, no matter your age, whenever works best for you. This section offers you video analysis of any type of skill you feel like you struggle with or that you want to make even stronger.

Immediately after your purchase you will gain access to videos that will help you improve your skill of choice. You can choose to try practicing some of these skills first, using tips in the videos, before sending your video. You can also choose to send your video in right away — it’s completely up to you.
When you are ready, send us a 2-3 minute video of you performing your skill. Dwayne will break down the good and the bad, and suggest ways to improve specific to what he sees in your video. He may also send you access to additional videos that will help you develop if they are not already addressed in the original videos.
Below is an example of a video analyzed by Dwayne, breaking down this player’s wrist shot off the inside leg. To evaluate the video, Dwayne uses professional video analysis software. He is able to slow down the video and pause to point out strengths and inefficiencies in the shot through voice over. Dwayne can also mark up the video to help better explain his voice overs and give a visual to his critique.
